Aim of this department is:
a. the proposal of strategic planning for the formation of IEP central policies.
b. the accomplishment of high quality services at IEP along with more effective operation and performance of the sections, bureaus and units according to international practices. Among the responsibilities of this section are:
- standardization and control of the estimated procedures
- descriptions of posts and duties
- assurance of the efficient implementation of compartmentalized/concrete quality policies, as defined by the Governing Board
- drafting of an annual report including results and proposals for improvement of the IEP modus operandi plus
- maintenance of the operational continuity of the institute.
A public school teacher or a contracted IEP employee, could be appointed as Head of the Department for four years by Governing Board decision, following a public call of interest, which defines the selection criteria in compliance with par. 7, art. 14.
